Overview
Families in South Franklin don’t just attend programs, they show up for each other. “One of the best things about our community is the way people come together to build networks of support… community centers really function as the heart of a neighborhood,” – Daily Herald contributor.
Since its earliest days in a shared space, South Franklin has grown into a dedicated community hub through the efforts of volunteers, neighborhood leaders, and residents working side by side. Programs have expanded from a few basic offerings to dozens of activities — from art and computer classes to health connections and mentorship — because people here want to learn, grow, and support each other. Monthly gatherings like Community Café draw neighbors together for meals and conversation, reinforcing that this is a place where relationships matter as much as opportunities do.
WINTER 2026 Schedule
We offer a limited number of music lessons for Piano, Guitar, and Violin. All of our teachers are volunteers who generously dedicate their time to come teach each week. New students are admitted each September and January.
