Connection can be a powerful way to improve all our lives.

The centers are more than just buildings—they’re places where neighbors come together to build a stronger, more connected community. Here, families can share, learn, and grow alongside each other, creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Rooted in Your Neighborhood:

  • These centers are right in your community—a short walk or drive away—designed to bring neighbors together to work on what truly matters to your area.

Built in Your Area:

  • Everything we do is tailored to the unique needs of your neighborhood. Together, we focus on what works best for your families, your friends, and your future.

Created by Community, for Community:

    • Here, families and neighbors help shape the programs and resources offered, making the center a true reflection of the people it serves.

More than a Program- it’s a Community Movement:

    • Our Community Centers are places where connections are made, not just services delivered. Parents build friendships, families grow stronger, and
neighbors work together to create a culture of mutual support. It’s not just about improving lives—it’s about building a better community, one connection
      at a time.

A great place to gather where parents lead their families, neighbors serve each other, and there is a feeling of paying it forward to future generations. – Parent testimonial

Strumming a New Tune: How One Volunteer Helped a Young Girl Find Her Voice

After retiring from 41 years in medicine and as chair of the Revere Health Foundation, Tom Dickinson wanted to give back in a new way. Partnering with United Way of Utah County, he helped launch the Payson Community Center and began teaching guitar lessons to connect with kids in need.

One of his first students was 10-year-old Claire, who was struggling after her parents’ divorce. At first, Claire was shy and hesitant to trust adults. But over time, with Tom’s encouragement, she found her confidence—smiling more, engaging in lessons, and even bringing in songs she wanted to learn.

For Claire’s mom, Kristie, the change has been life-changing. “She’s blossomed,” says Tom. “Music has given her confidence and a safe space to grow.”

But Claire isn’t the only one who has grown. Teaching these kids has given Tom a new sense of purpose in retirement. “I’m grateful for this opportunity,” he says. “It’s humbling to see the impact of something as simple as a guitar lesson.”

Through the generosity of volunteers like Tom, kids like Claire are gaining skills, trust, and a sense of belonging—and volunteers are finding purpose, too.
