COVID Response Fund

What is the COVID Community Response Fund?

The COVID Community Response Fund was created by the United Ways of Utah to address the economic, mental health, and educational effects from the pandemic.

Donations to this fund provide flexible resources to organizations who respond to the urgent and long-term needs of the community relating to:

  • Basic needs like housing, utility, and food assistance
  • Physical and mental health
  • Educational home-centered programs to assist parents and families

To view highlights of the COVID Fund, see our COVID Fund Donor Report.

Funds Raised

The funds raised for Utah County total over $235,000

How is the Fund’s Use Determined?

United Way works with trusted partner organizations to serve individuals and families whose finances, health, and education have been impacted by the pandemic.

United Way is using data from 211 callers and other community assessments to continue to determine the greatest needs now and in the future as our community recovers. Even after the pandemic wanes, it will take time for people to recover and get back on their feet. United Way of Utah County and our partner agencies will continue to help our local community stay strong.

Funds will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis, making it possible to move resources quickly and adapt to evolving needs in subsequent funding phases.

United Way of Utah County’s COVID Community Response Fund is not currently accepting applications for funding from other nonprofits and is not distributed to individuals.
