United Way 211 of Utah County provides referrals to services and volunteer opportunities.

2008 was an exciting year for 211. Information and Referral calls peaked in October with concerns about the economy driving more people to look for resources. The most common topics that people request information about continue to be tax assistance (during tax season), housing, legal services, food and health services. Through the website, we saw an increase of 161 percent in unique visitors from 07 to 08. We also saw a 90 percent increase in people contacting agencies about volunteer opportunities.

211 is currently scheduling appointments with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. To learn more click here .

New programs and volunteer opportunities are added to our website everyday. Check it out at www.unitedwayuc.org.
